Our SOC team is asking for such a report. The audit log is a bit noisy to go through manually. Re: Another crazy idea: Add ability to pass alert message from custom script Just curious if LM has considered this request and if it has made it into the dev roadmap? Report on Alert Rules and Escalation Chains. I inherited a LogicMonitor instance and it has a lot of alert rules and escalation chains. Its a mess. I would love a report that would show me which alert rules have never been hit or maybe a # matches in the last 90 days. Same for escalation chains, what escalation chains are NOT assigned to any alert rules. This may help me clean up the environment a bit. Thanks. Re: Alert Rule Groups You are making me think way too hard this early in the morning! :)/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /> I would have to defer to your great wisdom on this one. I see the potential for issues as you mentioned above. Re: Alert Rule Groups Just now, Stuart Weenig said: Just for organizational and visual focus purposes, yeah? No functional aspect to the group? For me it was just for visibility. I suppose you could have some wettings that could be set at the group level like in all other groups just to save time. Alert Rule Groups I would like to see the concept of Alert Rule Groups. I have a lot of alert rules. We are an MSP and we host several different applications for customers in our datacenters. Some alerts need to go to our infrastructure team, some to one of the application teams, and others might go to our support teams. I would love to have some type of grouping option in the alert rules page so help organize our many different alert rules. Thanks! Re: Exclude self-signed certificates in SSL_Certificate Worked like a charm! Thank you sir! Re: Exclude self-signed certificates in SSL_Certificate Yea in my case it is over 4000 so automationis a must. :)/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /> Re: Exclude self-signed certificates in SSL_Certificate 1 minute ago, Stuart Weenig said: There are several ways of doing this, the easiest being an Active Discovery filter. However, in order to setup an Active Discovery filter, you need to have a DataSource that is already discovering the certificates you want to monitor. Are you looking for a DataSource or do you already have one that works that needs to exclude the self-signed certs? If so, what's the name of the DS or its locator code (found at the top of the DataSource settings page)? The datasource I am using is SSL_Certificates from the LM repository. If I could just exclude selfsigned on that one that would be great! Exclude self-signed certificates in SSL_Certificate I need a way to monitor days until expiration for certificates, but I want to exclude self signed. How would I go about doing that?
