Drag and Drop: End-user Control/Management
Good Morning All, As you can imagine, we had some human error, were an engineer had accidentally dragging and dropping a group into an incorrect location. In working with support, I see that I could make a user account and modify that account to work as needed. However, if there could be an easier or more direct method of preventing users from moving but still allowing engineers how to do their tasks; I feel it would be a great benefit to the product and sanity of management. I was able to find a technet article "How to Determine Which DNS Server(s) Have Scavenging Enabled Using PowerShell" which provided the script which works perfectly for what we are trying to do. However, I'm looking for the fast track on how to interpret my outputs into a Datapoint. 1. What are you using to identify if DNS Scavenging is enabled? 2. I was thinking maybe I had entered in the credentials incorrectly so I re-added the node but this time just by IP address. LM accepted the username and password with no issues. However when I do a poll for the VMware_ESXi_HostServices-hostD, I get the following error, groovy.lang.GroovyRuntimeException: Ambiguous method overloading for method com.jcraft.jsch.Session#setPassword. Hey @Kerry DeVilbiss, I'm working with Will on this datasource, and we have one cluster that is failing to authenticate. This datasource is working correctly for many of my other clusters however I have one enviroment that it is failing to authenticate. The error that I and LM Support are getting is as follows, ""Clustername" returns "com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth cancel""https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2901248/com-jcraft-jsch-jschexception-auth-cancel Is there away around this bump in the road? A little history here is that this clusterwas previously deleted and brought back into monitoring and now we are getting this authentication error. Any help would begreatly appreciated!
