Does anyone know why this might be - it's not a common problem across any of our other SQLs (we have more than these 4 new ones today). So one today required the wmi properties and one required jdbc.mssql properties. Weird. Re: SQL Monitoring Troubles Strange, putting the LM collector creds as properties has fixed that one with wmi error. But the one not retrieving SQL data sources at all is weird. Re: SQL Monitoring Troubles The one with the WMI error is the classic one: But as I say, wbemtest works ok with the same creds. SQL Monitoring Troubles Hey, I've just added 4 SQL Servers to our environment. 2 of them worked perfectly and are retrieving all the SQL data. However, 2 of them aren't learning that SQL is installed: one of them reports WMI access error but wbemtest from the LM collector with the LM collector account details succeeds on both. The other just doesn't seem to know SQL is installed, no errors are shown. The one with WMI error obviously isn't even retrieving Windows data like CPU and memory. The one with no WMI error is showing this data okay. I'm not sure where to check for problems in LM - any logs I can look at? Thanks DataSource Graphs Is it possible to clone them from an existing DataSource to another one? We have a Clone option but I can't see how to clone it to another DataSource - only to the same one. Following on from my previous thread about combining CPU and Memory stats in one DataSource I just realised I completely disregarded the Graphs. It's not a major problem since I have everything I need on a Dashboard but if anyone did ever click in to the DataSource on a resource, they only see CPU graphs (I originally cloned WinCPU and then added the Datapoints from WinOS). It there a Windows equivalent of 'VMware_vCenter_HostPerformance' DataSource | LogicMonitor - 14754 Thanks Re: It there a Windows equivalent of 'VMware_vCenter_HostPerformance' DataSource Yeah I did see WinCPU is deprecated as it’s shown in the DataSource notes. There definitely needs to be a way to hide the datapoints deprecated things expose. Re: It there a Windows equivalent of 'VMware_vCenter_HostPerformance' DataSource This is the concern - CPU is already shown twice via WinCPU and Microsoft_Windows_CPU, and then both are combined in the new CPU and Memory one. Re: It there a Windows equivalent of 'VMware_vCenter_HostPerformance' DataSource Ah thanks - that’s a good point. The default ones are still used in some other widgets. I’ll leave the originals in place for a while longer to build up more history and then transition the widgets the new one. And yeah basically, the datapoints and complex datapoints available in WinCPU and WinOS have been duplicated in my new DataSource: Re: Alert List Dashboard, not a Widget on a Dashboard bugger I forgot to copy it here. @Kwame A is it possible for LM to post my FR content here for others? If so I’ll DM you my LM login email address it would have come from. Re: It there a Windows equivalent of 'VMware_vCenter_HostPerformance' DataSource Quick addition to this. The new DataSource is working, however now I have duplicates so people are getting confused. My new one is basically presenting the same datapoints as the default CPU DataSource and the default Memory and Processes DataSource, and these are all obviously appearing in each resource. A key difference is my DataSource has different alert thresholds: >= 90 95 98 vs >98 for the default ones. So, what is the best way if disabling/hiding the default DataSources? There is no Disable option, so do I need to update AppliesTo to basically not find any resources?
