ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsCollector Bouncing I have a collector where the service is stopping, I checked the logicmonitor-agent-control.log file and I am seeing something about an illegal reflective access, could this be the cause of the service stopping? I'm not seeing anything in Event Viewer that helps. The error from the log is below. Let me know if more information is needed. LOG: [24-07-23 12:47:22 PDT][Thread-Thread-4][WindowsJavaProcess.access$000:31]: APP-ERR: WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred [24-07-23 12:47:22 PDT][Thread-Thread-4][WindowsJavaProcess.access$000:31]: APP-ERR: WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.rzo.yajsw.app.WrapperJVMMain (file:/C:/Program%20Files/LogicMonitor/Agent/lib/wrapperApp.jar) to field sun.management.RuntimeImpl.jvm [24-07-23 12:47:22 PDT][Thread-Thread-4][WindowsJavaProcess.access$000:31]: APP-ERR: WARNING: Please consider reporting this to the maintainers of org.rzo.yajsw.app.WrapperJVMMain [24-07-23 12:47:22 PDT][Thread-Thread-4][WindowsJavaProcess.access$000:31]: APP-ERR: WARNING: Use --illegal-access=warn to enable warnings of further illegal reflective access operations [24-07-23 12:47:22 PDT][Thread-Thread-4][WindowsJavaProcess.access$000:31]: APP-ERR: WARNING: All illegal access operations will be denied in a future release Re: TLS errors, Multiple Collectors, Multiple Clients Bump Re: No Data and Error not seen before Hi Mike, Thank you for the quick response! Where would I find the log files? I will run some additional tests using WBEMTEST and let you know what I find. Thank you. No Data and Error not seen before Hello, I have an issue where on a VM where a collector is installed it is returning No Data for items such as System Uptime and CPU but returning data for Memory and Processes. When I do a Poll Now on the System Uptime it Times Out. If I do Poll Now on CPU I get NaN and this message: "java.io.IOException: winproxy return status=0x00000261 errmsg=Process the request timeout" I tried to re-install the collector but still getting the same error. I also restarted the LogicMonitor Agent and Watchdog Services along with the WMI service. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you. TLS errors, Multiple Collectors, Multiple Clients Hi Team, I have an issue where in the last few months we are seeing a very large increase in TLS SChannel Windows Events on our collectors and was wondering how to try and resolve them. Was there an update or change to LM collectors that could explain the below behavior? This seems to only happen on Collectors (On a regular basis) and happens to multiple clients. I have checked the collector version and also used the LogicMonitor_Collector_TLSVersion and the servers are using TLS 1.2. The most common events and thedescriptions are below. Please let me know if I need to provide any other information. Most Common Event Alerts: 36874 -An TLS 1.2 connection request was received from a remote client application, but none of the cipher suites supported by the client application are supported by the server. The TLS connection request has failed. 36887 -A fatal alert was received from the remote endpoint. The TLS protocol defined fatal alert code is 70. 36888 -A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 10. The Windows SChannel error state is 1203. Re: Alert to Disk Offline Hi Stuart, Thank you for the reply, I did find that option selected and I have made the change. So now if this would happen again, do you know if it would alert? I imagine I would get a "No Data" type of alert at least, thoughts? Thank you again for the assistance. Alert to Disk Offline Hi Team, I had a server get updates over the weekend that resulted in a reboot of the server. When the server came back online one of the disks was offline in the Disk Management console. This disk had been monitored in LogicMonitor and when I looked at the device in resources the drive was no longer there. I brought the disk online and then did a "Run Active Discovery" and "Force DataSource Re-Match" and the drive was then back in LM. Is this normal behavior for LM to remove the drive from monitoring if it is not online after a reboot? Is there a way we could alert as a critical if the drive is showing offline? Thank you for any assistance! No data collected from sbproxy Hi Team, I was getting the "No Data" on a lot of the datasources. I went through the WMI troubleshooting and made the needed changes, I did this after I ran the "Poll Now" and got a permissions error. Now I can run "Poll Now" without the error but I am getting NaN and "No data collected from sbproxy" I'm not sure what else I need to do for the data to be collected. A collector did exist on this server but was moved to another server. Before the collector was moved we did not experience this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Re: Complex DataPoint for a Report I have answered my own question, I was trying to put the expression in a DataSource that did not have the DiskReadsPerSec (I was using a DataSource that had been cloned and applied to a specific client). When I added the expression to the built in DataSource that has the correct DataPoints then it did not give the error. Re: Complex DataPoint for a Report I may understand why it is not working, just would like confirmation. So the complex datapoint must be in the same datasource as the other datapoints that I am using in the expression, correct? Otherwise I would get the error they do not exist because the complex datapoint wouldn't be able to "read" data from other datasources, correct?
