Specify SNI for Website Checks
I have an Azure Website that is used by our company when our primary website goes down. We call it our DR website. This is done automatically using Traffic Manager. 99% of the time, our main domain points at our real website (I'm already monitoring this). I want to be able to monitor this Azure DR website's certificate to ensure we're alerted when it expires. However because 99% of the time our domain points to our real website and not the DR website, I need to use the DR website's IP for the check. This adds a new problem in that Azure websites share IPs between customers, and use SNI to determine which customer to route traffic to. LogicMonitor's website checks don't provide a way to specify the SNI header. I've tried setting the Host header to our website's domain but that didn't work.23Views3likes0CommentsWebsite Monitoring & Resources
Though this isn’t technically included in the Fall Launch, I’m curious as to when LogicMonitor intends to finally create parity between Websites and Resources and merge them under the same directory? As I understand it this has been on the horizon for some time, I’m curious if there are any formal plans at this point.65Views12likes1CommentMulti Step website test with variable
We have a website test on a site that uses session based tokens, whcih are passed by the authentication process. I can curl the website and get a token, and then paste the token as a bearer token in another curl, but can’t figure out:- how to do this with a website test or how to build a new datasource to do this. The token expires after 15 minutes, so setting up as a persistant value in the headers for the webtest doesnt work. Can anyone help?Solved354Views12likes13CommentsChanging the checkpoints for certain customers in GUI
My issue is that we use LM to monitor multiple customers that use website monitoring which is great, except when it comes to setting the checkpoints for just a certain customer. So if I have customers 1,2,3 naturally all 5 checkpoints are turned on which is great, but if customer 2 decides they only want to poll from US sites (2) is there an easy way in the GUI without going thru all 150+ of their URLs manually and change the checkpoints? I know if I go to global settings that works but then I would have to go into Customers 1 and 3 to change all their checkpoints to use all 5 polling locations.69Views1like5Comments
