LM Uptime - Anyone know how to use it?

We were told months ago that Websites were going to be moving  into the Resources section.  I now see this new "LM Uptime" thing was released and it seems like this is what's replacing websites.  However, I can't find any information on how to set it up, how it works, etc.

Does anyone have that info?

  • According to https://www.logicmonitor.com/blog/announcing-lm-uptime, the screenshot looks like you add it as you would a device via the "+" button. The page also mentions "LM Uptime is included in LogicMonitor Advanced and Signature platform packages, and also available as a standalone product." So looks like (yet another) paid add-on.

  • Kelemvor Uptime works pretty much the same as Websites in terms of how you configure it and how it collects data. The main difference is that the objects are now Resources (and are created from the Resources page), so they can be on dashboards, resource reports, resource groups, and services. Just like any other device resource.

  • Is this actually available yet? When I go to add a resource, I don't see those options.

Hi Mitch_Grande, it is generally available but it is an add-on, so it will only show up if you have the license or current trial.

Perhaps that's the issue then. If we're already using Websites, can we just continue using that as-is if we don't purchase additional licensing for this?
