Info and Overview resource tabs
I’d like to know what is planned to make the overview and info tabs for resources easier to use/more useful. My experience with the info tab is that there is just too much information on it for my day to day tasks. It’s all useful to have, but the details I need most are spread out through a very long list and I honestly don’t remember what the property names of them are most of the time. Is there something in the works to make this easier? If I could pin which properties are most important to me to the top of the screen, that’d be helpful. Being able to put them in a table on the overview tab would also be very helpful. Right now, I’m not really using the overview tab much since I can’t put what would be useful on it. To me these seem like they should be device level dashboards. Are there any plans to add more functionality to this tab? I’d need more tabular data instead of just graphs (important details from the info tab, instance level info from various datasources, etc.)222Views19likes16CommentsNew Alert Threshold Options In Portal 200
We were reading through the new alert threshold options coming up and we are very excited. This will solve a ton of our problems and allow us to be more agile for our clients. Being able to control alert interval at various levels now and controlling no data is awesome! 1 issue tho. The continued bad design around UI v4.I use 4k monitors at 100%. Why in the world is the threshold adjustment so tiny and hard to work with? Now truthfully I don’t always go around maximizing my browser windows, but still. This feels like so much wasted space.62Views12likes2CommentsParticipants needed for UX and Product research
I am a UX Designercurrently conducting research on the user experience of LogicMonitor in order to help the Product and the Design teams better prioritize improvements and product direction. I washopingthat some of you might be interested in participating in my research. I am interested in talking to anyone who interacts with LogicMonitor, from users who only occasionally use LogicMonitor to those whospendmost of their day in the product. This is a quick, 30 minute interview, at your convenience, over Zoom. I will ask youquestions about the way you work, your usage of LogicMonitor, and your impressions of the product. You will also have a chance to call out any additional problems or needs with LogicMonitor. None of the questions are about personal or private topics. This is not a Marketing or NPS survey, its purpose is entirely for product planning and any data collected will be kept confidential and stripped of identifying information. If you are interested, please let me know and I will reach out to you about setting up the session.401Views45likes21CommentsPotential 187 UI bug
I tried to report this via Engineer chat, but no response. We have 187 early access. Looks like there may be a critical UI bug relating to the new Instance Group functionality… If you select an instance and then the Instance Group, the UI does NOT update to show the overview graphs etc. Please ping me via email to review the issue in our early access portal on a Zoom meeting.67Views3likes3CommentsChanging the checkpoints for certain customers in GUI
My issue is that we use LM to monitor multiple customers that use website monitoring which is great, except when it comes to setting the checkpoints for just a certain customer. So if I have customers 1,2,3 naturally all 5 checkpoints are turned on which is great, but if customer 2 decides they only want to poll from US sites (2) is there an easy way in the GUI without going thruall 150+ of their URLs manually and change the checkpoints? I know if I go to global settings that works but then I would have to go into Customers 1 and 3 to change all their checkpoints to use all 5 polling locations.57Views1like5Comments
