I have to re-login frequently, and often also need to reconnect with 2FA as well. Prior to this week, I could maintain a session overnight+ with no issues. My first suspicion was Chrome with the LastPass plugin, as there was an update to LastPass this week. But I’ve tried Edge and Firefox (normal and incognito mode) with the same result. I’ve checked with my colleagues and several are also experiencing the same issue. Their sessions last anywhere from 5 to 15 mins However, some do not have this issue. My user session timeout portal setting is 30 minutes. Wondering if anyone else has come across this. SolvedRe: Auto Restart Windows Service and alert if it fails I was informed that this datasource is outdated and will not work properly. Support for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Would be good to get this functionality. I’ve submitted a new feature request through our LM portal. Re: Auto Restart Windows Service and alert if it fails A colleague's pointed out to me that this is available in LM Exchange , under Community - Windows Services Auto Restart Auto Restart Windows Service and alert if it fails Regarding auto restart and alert for windows services. All posts lead to this URL: http://blog.mikesuding.com/2016/09/20/restart-a-service-alert-if-restart-fails/ However, the dataouce file’s no longer there. Can anyone point me to where I can find a copy, or if there’s a newer option/solution? SolvedInstance Management - Alerts Hi, Curious to know how people have managed setting alert thresholds for datasources where new instances will not be recognised. The notice I get is: “These changes will only apply to existing instances of this datasource on this device. They will not apply to instances added later” This is a challenge for large environments where it’s easy to forget this fact, and potentially miss monitoring new instances altogether. Keen to get feedback on any strategies used to address this issue. SolvedSQL Server Cluster Monitoring I have a question on setting up SQL cluster monitoring. According to https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/monitoring/applications-databases/windows-server-failover-cluster-on-sql-server-monitoring the datasource Microsoft_SQLServer_FailoverClusterNodeStatus should be used in conjunction with WSFC. I have the Windows Cluster related datasources, and I have the SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability datasources as well. I’m unable to get the Microsoft_SQLServer_FailoverClusterNodeStatus to apply. The DAG meets the applies to criteria (hasCategory("WSFC_VNN") && hasCategory("MSSQL"). When I test the script I get the message “there would be no instances discovered for the selected device”. I want this datasource to monitor and alert when a SQL cluster failover has occurred. I’ve tested failover and no event is recorded specifically around this with any of the other datasources. The SQL cluster is an Active Active configuration. Am I missing a step in the configuration? Use of Nano collectors for single devices Hi, I understand a nano collector is not recommended for production environments, but I was wondering on the view on using it for single device monitoring (i.e. domain controllers running under the local system account). Anyone adopted this approach? Any issues/concerns as a result? Windows Application Event Log Monitoring Is Event log monitoring of the Windows application log fully supported? I can understand that the Applications and Services Logs are not since they are not exposed to WMI. I don't see an event source in the repository for the Windows application log like the others (system, security). I do see Exchange and SQL related event sources in the repository that leverage the application log so I assume it must work?
