Looking forward to this growing and evangelizing! 📈 Re: Are you interested in being part of our Super User program? Interested! Re: Event Source for log file monitoring Piggybacking on this thread Are tokens supported within filepaths for eventsources? e.g. If the eventsource applies to "Product Category" And the Logfile Path could be \\#HOSTNAME#\C$\Program Files\Application\Log\debug.log ? Re: Basic Synology On 1/31/2019 at 11:06 PM, Alejandro Esmael said: Greetings All, I came up with a few additional Synology datasources and a property source since I realized I was without this information. Let me know if you find them useful. I'm still exploring other SNMP data available via the Synology platform. Please note you must add the system.categories "synology" in addition to whatever else may be present (snmp,TCPUDP,etc.) as I haven't yet successfully configured the SNMP SysOID Maps for Synology devices; any assistance here would be greatly appreciated. F4T3CX = Synology Disk Status (Individual disk failures and temperatures) R977RE = Synology DiskStation Manager software upgrade availability PR4DGP = PropertySource for gathering and displaying Model, Serial, and DSM Version in the info tab. Respectfully, Alejandro Esmael Great stuff @Alejandro Esmael Any update on PR4DGP as it is still showing "Import Error: This LogicModule is currently undergoing security review. It will be available for import only after our engineers have validated the scripted elements." ? Please advise Will Re: RDP Sessions On 2/18/2019 at 4:04 PM, mnagel said: Just a word of warning to anyone else who deploys this -- it is very heavy on the CPU and we had to disable for now until we can review the code to see how (if at all) this can be optimized. The results are awesome, but so far our observation has been otherwise healthy collectors are brought to their knees. @mnagel - Was this still being experienced with updated collectors? I have deployed this datasource to a few of our systems and will report back on our findings. Re: RDP Sessions Any update on this datasource? Re: Snapshot 'Age' 4 hours ago, Forrest Evans - LM said: Hi Will, For #2, on the latest version of that datasource there is a field for snapshot_age_hours, which, by default doesn't have an alert threshold but if applied could alert if a particular snapshot is over a certain age. #1 is a bit more tricky since it would require an aggregate measure across multiple instances. It could be done with a scripted datasource but but the good news is we are working on an upcoming feature that will be a much better way to solve this. More to come when we are ready to release. ~Forrest Thanks @Forrest Evans - LM. #2 - Roger - I could use the snapshot_age_hours and set an alert on an individual cluster or client, based on ideal retention. #1 - Is there any logic available now that would provide a warning if there is NO snapshot age that is less than 24 hours (1440 minutes) ? Snapshot 'Age' Looking for something unique here. I am familiar with the NetApp_Cluster_Snapshots datasource (MHNTRC). I would like to setup an alert if 1. No detected snapshot taken in the last XX hours (Ensure Snapshot/SnapManager is working properly) 2. Snapshot exists greater than XX hours (Retention) Thoughts, guidance? Re: Display NOC Widget on external site. @Mark Vollmann@PatrickATL Any update on this? I had previously received information on using this, but it is not working https://xxx.logicmonitor.com/santaba/uiv3/dashboard/index.jsp?c=xxx&u=uuu&p=ppp!#dashboard=2 xxx - account uuu - user ppp - password Any thoughts? Re: VMWare Platform Service Controller Appliance @Shack - did you ever find anything out for this one?
