Testing connectivity from Windows Collector to unix/Linux Devices

Hi All , We can test the connectivity from windows collector to windows servers in various ways like below , i need to know how can we test the same from " WINDOWS COLLECTOR TO LINUX/UNIX DEV...

Windows Collectors can monitor Linux servers just as easily as they can Windows servers. Just assign the Linux servers to that Windows Collector.
