Centralizing Vendor Status Pages in LogicMonitor - How are you doing it?

Hi everyone,

We are currently tracking dozens and dozens of vendor/SaaS status pages and want to centralize them in a clean way.

We’re trying to standardize the approach as the list grows. How are others handling the mix, for example every vendors status page is a little bit different or doesn't have the same options as the other.

What’s your real-world setup for this?

Thank you,
Eddy

  • Hi Eddy,

Did you check this document? https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/monitoring/applications-databases/atlassian-statuspage-statuspage-io-monitoring

This should work for each vendor which is using Atlassian Statuspage in the background or could be a good source to create a new module.

    Regards,
    Jeroen

  • Hi, eortiz.  Since it sounds like SaaS app monitoring is important to you, I wonder to what extent you are aware of LogicMonitor’s SaaS app monitoring capabilities with last week’s announcement that we acquired Catchpoint, the industry leader for Internet Performance Monitoring.  So, if you need, it’s possible to monitor the experience of these applications from where it matters via more 3000 vantage points strategically placed across the globe. Furthermore, you can get alerted if the performance is not acceptable for users in the regions you care about and visually see where in the Internet Stack the problem exists.

This is an interactive, searchable map of where you can test from:

    https://www.catchpoint.com/global-observability-network

How we visualize where problems exist in the Internet Stack:

For fun, and with assistance from some of mt new teammates, I used Catchpoint Webhooks to send some of the test results to my LM Envision portal to start thinking about how we might leverage this information in-product.
