Hi, I am still relatively new to topology maps and disappointed that I missed this session. Did you record the session from the start? It feels like there is an intro part or initial setup missing. It seems LM does not support ISIS on Cisco IOS XE code and also does not support MP-BGP (multi protocol BGP for MPLS), which means I need to create manual relationships between devices. Is there a document or other article that explains the basics of this os will support be able to assist me to get going? Also, can one built relationships between instances and devices? I.e Ping-Multi instances ran from the collector to reach IP's must have a dependancy relationship on a specific Core router/interface where the actual circuits terminates. Are you referring to setting up IP SLA responders on the routers and then monitoring the output via SNMP? If so, I looked at this some time ago but I recall the raw data returned had some issues. Some new datasources released on this, update and import and see what you get. I am getting some site and tunnel specific throughput and latency info from the Orchestrator directly. Ping multi does everything I need except for the packet limitation to 10. Website SLA is in reporting or dashboard is insufficient as it only measures availability and does not cover loss, latency even-though those are measured in the raw data. Good point on the frequency, but I will be happy with 50 packets per minute, regardless of frequency. Looks like a new datasource/script is required here. Hi All - Old thread that I am picking up on. Has anybody attempted to find a custom way to achieve the above? I am looking at using ping multi to send 60 packets per minute and then measure and express availability, latency and loss this through an SLA widget to my client. Currently, 10 pings is just not sensitive enough and will report 10% packet loss when 1 packet it lost. Using internal web pings does support changing this to 50 packets (which is good enough) but a) requires a license and b) does not have proper support in the SLA widget as it combines all websites in a group into a single SLA and and only reports on availability. Hi Victor, thanks for the feedback. Update from my side: I have managed to reach out to Silverpeak in the backend with the feedback below. I still need to read and understand this fully but it suggests thatstats are to be pulled from the Orchestrator itself and not from the appliances. "To get the tunnel stats, you can use REST API from orchestrator--> Support--> rest API. You can search for aggregate stats and use below API where nePK is the appliance ID. You can find this when you hover your mouse over the appliance name in the orchestrator list view on left hand side. GET /stats/aggregate/tunnel/{nePk}" I can only pick htis up again laternext week so please go ahead and log it if its urgent on your side. Hi Jeffrey, I am looking for the same information. I noticed a published article on the LM website listed below and added the username and password properties to my resource. It is pulling some additional information such as tunnel status, but its still missing detailed tunnel info such as loss, mbps transmitted etc and iscomplaining about missing info in the tunnels.csv file which is inaccessible from the appliance.I logged a call with Silverpeakand they confirmed that the query made by the script is no longer valid on newer software versions.
