Re: [Feature request] Custom PowerShell script: increase timeout @Zahir Sheikkariem - I confirmed with our Product team that the timeout value is not hard coded for Groovy scripts. For some reason, the 120 value only affects PowerShell scripts. If you can’t change over to using Groovy, @Jacob Ortony sent me these tips for making PowerShell scripts run faster. Re: [Feature request] Custom PowerShell script: increase timeout Have you tried changing any of the collector’s agent.conf settingssuch as thecollector.script.timeout value? Re: Using CUCM CDR Data for Reviewing Call History @Stuart Weenig - Yes, you can install an OTel collector on the same box as a regular collector. However, that box will then need to share its resources with both collectors. Depending on the log streaming requirements, this could impact the performance and capabilities of the regular collector. Re: Using CUCM CDR Data for Reviewing Call History @pgordon - LM Logs would be your best bet, followed by a custom datasource that ingests and consolidates data and spits it all out to one or more CSVs. LM Logs is not OOB and would need to be purchased before it can be used. You can always ask to set up a POV trial period first, to see if it meets your needs. Re: Using CUCM CDR Data for Reviewing Call History @Stuart Weenig - FluentD is the most widely used option but there areOTel collectorand LogStash optionsas well, depending on the use case. Search for “Log Files on Disk” on this page. @pgordon - How often do you need these files queried? PropertySources only run automatically once per day. Re: Using CUCM CDR Data for Reviewing Call History The easiest way to view a simple table that displayscall data, as you’ve outlined above, is to create a datasource that ingestsall individual call records and consolidatesthem into one or more CSVs. If you have LM Logs, you could ingest the CUCM files and create pipelines that look for the data that you want displayed. Re: Using CUCM CDR Data for Reviewing Call History I believe this data is obtained from files, correct? Our PS team has developed custom logicmodules to obtain this info but I do not believe it is available OOB. Streaming APIs Has anyone used any of the streaming APIs or methodologies from various monitoring tools out there? If so, can you share your experiences, what you needed them for, and how well they worked? I know of the following but if you know of others, let me know: New Relic’s Streaming API: This and this Datadog’s Streaming API/Observability Pipeline It looks like Dynatrace’s Data Lakehouse Azure monitoring’s streaming API Zenoss’sdata streaming methods Re: Introduce Yourself! Hi all - I’m Kellena and I’ve been at LM for over 4 years now. Time flies! Great to be here with you all.
