I don't like the idea of an employer having access to PHI/PII. From a DEI and disability rights perspective, all bodies are different. Some people have physical limitations or medical issues that prevent them from standing/walking for long periods. Some people might live in a less walkable area, with busy streets and no sidewalks or bike lanes. Some people tend to require less sleep than others. People, unlike machines/infrastructure, shouldn't be measured against global averages.Re: Find the Technology
Picking up a prescription at the Pharmacy: When I go to the doctor, they send me electronic paperwork, which includes a section for the pharmacy I prefer, and when I fill it out the paperwork gets added into my patient account. My doctor uses an app to submit the prescription order to the pharmacy. The pharmacy uses an inventory management system to see if they have the medication on hand, or order more if not. They use another app to check my insurance and copay, I pay for the prescription with their credit card terminal, which asks if I want refill reminders and if I want them to email me the receipt. Next time I get a text reminder asking if I want to refill my prescription, or I can use the pharmacy's app to request a prescription refill and then later I checked the status of the order to see if it was ready for pickup.We asked our Customers....
