I was informed by LM support the PUT is not supported in Web Check on the settings. Is it possible to do through a groovy script? I have been looking and testing without success. Any help would be appreciated. Does anybody have a sample groovy script to do a PUT instead of a POST? Thanks Bill Re: Web Site availability Monitoring I may need to look at the NOC widget again.. I thought that one of the alerts had cleared and it was showing past alerts. I believe it may be working and human error on my part. Second item, I did put in a feature request. I was hoping on the dashboard I could have a widget that displays the websites for a group and displays there individual SLA's.. I have only been able to find this im a report, I was hoping to display on a dashboard. Example Website Availability Site1 100% Site2 99.8% Site3 99.9% It doesn't look like there is anything that supports this for websites. I know you can doing it for a resource. The website SLA widget only gives the overall SLA. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Web Site availability Monitoring All, Hoping you can assist. I have a group of web sites being monitored. They have a datapoint status that is being collected. I am trying to build a dashboard that I can have our helpdesk go to and see the current status of the website. It appears the NOC widget is not what I am expecting. It is reporting on alerts. I do not care about alerts that may have happened 24 hours ago. I just want to know what is the current status of the site. 1=0K. It appears the NOC widget is telling me about alerts and not availability. We have a 100+ sites, so I am hoping that there is a NOC widget or table widget that I can focus on the datapoint status for the web site and that we can display that in a List, NOC or some fashion. Thanks for any assist. Much appreciated. Bp Re: Alert when the Service Does not exist Works like a champ! Thanks Learn something new everyday. Thanks Again.. Much appreciated! Re: Alert when the Service Does not exist 18 minutes ago, Stuart Weenig said: @Stefan W, weren't you and I talking about this last week? @BillP, not easily. There are a few options (custom propertysource probably the cleanest). I prefer to modify the Winservice DS to have auto discovery based on properties. You would specify a property containing the list of services to discover (regardless of whether or not they exist). This would then kick off monitoring of those services, leading to no data alerts whenever the service doesn't exist. You'd take responsibility of applying the property only to those servers where the services should exist. Opens up lots of customizable options based on group inheritance. I am using winservice DS to discover the service and the State.. "I am not sure how to apply if regardless of whether or not they exist," Where is that option. right now it only applies if the service exists. Re: Alert when the Service Does not exist 3 hours ago, Mike Moniz said: Are you using WinService- (aka the Windows Service Wizard in LM) and the Raw Data tab is showing "No Data" when it's missing? If so, you can likely modify WinService- to set its Status DataPoint to alert if there is no data for that datapoint. Winservice does not apply the datasource to a device if the service is actually missing from the server. I tried the auto property Windows Services however that is buggy and does not always run correctly. LM Team is looking into the issue. I may try the config. Is there a way to run create a group with the applies to iswindows() and something like datasourceexist("datasourcename") == False. Alert when the Service Does not exist I am monitoring all windows for a specific service to make sure it is running, if not it triggers an alert. How can I get that to apply with the service is actually missing from the device. I would like to have an alert for when it is missing. Thanks SolvedRe: Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_System Class not found Thanks much appreciated.. It did fix the problem. Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_System Class not found All, We have experienced a number of servers returning NO Wmi Data for System Uptime SystemUpTime. Upon further investigation we found the the servers do not have the Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_System WMI class. I am not sure if anyone has a corrective action. I have not found out to get the this class registered on the system. Any assistance is appreciated. Solved
