Inc creation of different priority in Snow through single alert rule

Hi All,

Currently in our environment we are using SNOW as an ITSM tool and we are dealing with two types of incidents priority level P3 & P4 .

for critical alert alert we are creating P3 inc in Snow and for error alert P4 Inc & for each priority we are using separate alert rule i.e for P3 we have separate alert rule and for P4 we have separate alert rule.

let's take an example if CPU busy percent is >80% P4 will be created and if >90% P3 will be created, in such case we have created 2 different alert rule one for P4 & other for P3.

Query -> is it possible to achieve this in LogicMonitor through one alert rule means p3 & p4 inc will be created through single alert rule instead of two alert rule.

  • As far as I am aware, you would have to use something like a business rule in ServiceNow to achieve this.

      A business rule is a process in ServiceNow. You could have a business rule in place in ServiceNow that automatically handles this part.
