Create an alert based on sum of two datasources?

Question

I'd like to create an alert when the sum of a datasource from two different instances goes above a certain value. Is there any way to do this? I have it displayed this way in a widget already, but no option for using that to trigger an alert. Any other suggestions?

Two different datasources and two different instances? Or same datasource, multiple instances?&nbsp; If it's the latter, Service Insight is the way to do it:&nbsp;https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/lm-service-insight/about-lm-service-insight
