Alerts for down and degraded sites
Currently we have LM setup to email Cherwell (ticketing system) to open a ticket based on ping. Our ping rule is 20 / 70 / 90.

The alert trigger intervals does help. I'm looking into better ways to organize what alerts to actually use for tickets and how to set them up. Might take a bit to get back to this thread but some questions about this are coming up in the thread Rate Limit Throttle Message Disable.
