SonicWall VPN Tunnel Monitoring
Is it possible with the datasource: SonicWall_VPN_Connection_Users to monitor VPN tunnels, so if they drop I can wrap it in an alert to notifdy us?
I can’t quite figure out if it’s possible against the Datasource

The script in that DS pulls from 1.3.6.1.4.1.8741.1.3.2.1.1.1. I don’t think status is one of the leafs in that oid branch. You might be able to find a different OID branch you could pull from and add it in. I’m monitoring 2 of those, I’ll poke around and see what i can come up with.

I’m not finding anything else really in the MIB tree that would correspond to the metrics you’re looking for. It does look like the SonicWall_Firewall_GlobalStats DS is missing out on a few metrics though. It’s polling 8741.1.3.1.1-4, but 5, 6, and 7 also exist. I suggest adding them to your definition and submitting a feature request to LM to add them to the official DS definition.
