Would it be possible please to provide an API call that will allow for the export of dashboards to JSON format, much like that provided for datasources '/setting/datasources?format=xml'.
I've attempted to use the /dashboard/dashboards URI, and then send the content to a file, but this reports as invalid content when attempting to upload back into LM.
It would be great if this could just be handled natively in product.
Product Manager@nrichards Yes! You can use v2 of the API to GET /dashboard/dashboards/ID?template=true, and the response is a JSON export of the dashboard (the same content you'd get from exporting the dashboard from the UI). Let us know if this doesn't solve your problem.
