Custom alert messages per Cluster

So I've opened a few support cases about #2 on my list--custom properties and tokens for clusters. At first I was told it should work already. So I went ahead and implemented a process that I now find won't work at all because what I was initially told was incorrect. So the #2 is very much high on my wishlist.
