Azure Cloud Monitoring Question (M365/Sharepoint)
As an MSP employee trying to monitor Azure resources for a client, I need guidance on the setup process. Do I need to purchase specific Azure subscriptions to integrate a cloud account into LogicMonitor, and can I monitor multiple Azure tenants using a single enterprise application?

·2 years agoI also don't know myself if LM's App Registration can support multi-tenant. Would be interested to know if it does though, but I don't have any environments with that.

OP2 years agoI'm in the same boat and need to confirm this before moving forward. If you come across any information, please share it with me.

·2 years agoI don't deal with billing myself but I believe native cloud monitoring like Azure Cloud and M365 in LM is an LM add-on and priced differently than normal devices. Best to talk with your LM Rep on the specifics for your contract. I don't believe you need to have an actual "Subscription" in Azure itself to do this, as App Registration is part of Entra ID and not subscription cloud services. I can't confirm this though.
The directions for monitoring M365 is located at https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/monitoring/applications-databases/microsoft-office-365-monitoring and for Azure Cloud services it's at https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/lm-cloud/getting-started-lm-cloud/2b-adding-azure-environment-logicmonitor. They do have you add LM as a App Registration in your tenant. I believe you can use the same registration for both.
