API for get_log
The logicmonitor_data_sdk has a function to send_log but nothing for get_log. I have Python scripts, automation, and MCP server that could really use this feature. Is there a specific reason why this is not in the sdk?

OP3 months agobump. Anyone know the query syntax in the payload? Trying filter by a device name.
Payload: { "q": "_resource.name ~ \"device01\"",

·4 months agoSDK doesn't have
get_log, because there is no official API for that. There is unofficial/undocumented v3 API (I guess
/santaba/rest/log/search). But it is unofficial, so support won't expose any details about that :-( But Edwin AI is using it anyway :-(.Ask your CSM about that and you will get response that they are working on it 🤷

OP4 months agoThanks, I can get logs but can't filter by anything like resource name in the same way the GUI takes queries like,
_resource.name ~ device01 and ("Session Reset")
Do you know how to send a query with the API?
