Apache Groovy 2 to 4 Migration

The efforts continue with the Apache Groovy 2 to 4 Migration, with the most recent key milestone which was completed on April 13, 2026. With Release GD 39.004, we removed support for Apache Groovy 2 on the GD Collector.
The next milestone will occur on September 1, 2026, when the Required General Release (MGD) Collector, Version 39.005 will no longer support Apache Groovy 2. If you have "auto-upgrade" enabled, please be sure you are prepared as noted in the original post.
Please continue to use the tools provided in the original post to assist as you migrate your collectors over to the latest version. We will continue the process of deprecating Apache Groovy 2, with the final milestone coming October 05, 2026.
