Netscan AWS Integration (IAM instance roles)
While setting up NetScan Policy and choosing AWS can we instead rely on the IAM instance role of the collector instance (when the collector is an EC2 instance running in AWS) instead of hardcoding AWS AccessKey/SecretKey in the Netscan policy?

·10 years agoGood timing! We are currently working on improving our AWS NetScan, including how AWS credentials are provided. Specifically, we will be adding an option to use credentials already set as properties in your account (e.g. at the group level), which eliminates the need to enter credentials for every NetScan. We will also look into adding an option to rely on EC2 IAM roles.
