Asset Tracking
Hi,
Our previous monitoring software had a tab for asset tracking, just showing serial number, product number bios date etc. It comes in very handy for warranties etc.

OP10 years agoYes, this would be handy Josh and would help with grouping devices into the correct LM groups.

·11 years agoI agree also. We had this feature in the product we migrated from. To take the idea a step further, tracking a datapoint like warranty end date would facilitate alerting on this, say 90/60/30 days in advance.

OP12 years agoIs there anyway this could be added? Its a very handy feature and really missed in LM. If for instance a disk fails in a server and i have to create a warranty call with HP i have to go to several different places to get the product ID/Serial number.
