Allow Duplicate IP Addresses
Use case:
Large enterprise, multiple geographical regions, multiple networks. We have 192.x.x.x in Europe and in Pacific and in Americas. We have Collectors in each region's networks too.
Problem:
LogicMonitor does not allow duplicate IP addresses.
Solution:
Allow duplicate IP addresses if they are on different Collectors.

·9 years agoThis is almost guaranteed in an MSP environment and I guess we have just been lucky we have not run into this issue yet. This is a huge showstopper and (to me) not a feature request but a bug report. I thought for sure uniqueness was required only per collector (or failover collector pair), there really is no other good answer.
