ProfessorReporting on Resource Group Membership?
A user was wondering if there is a way to list every Resource that was in a specific folder or its subfolders over the course of a year. I dont know of any way to do it off the top of my head. Even doing some testing moving things into or out of folders, there isnt any commonality in the audit logs, depending on whether it was done manually or via API or at creation time or etc. At least not that I could see.
So I'm just wondering, if I have a Resource Group like "Group01/My Stuff/" that itself may have a couple of tiers of subfolders beneath "My Stuff", is there any way to generate a list of any Resource that had ever been in "My Stuff" or one of its sub-groups over the course of a year?

Any machine currently in the group, sure. Any machine that has ever been in that group, I would have suggested checking the audit logs. But if you said that doesn't seem to log things going into or out of groups reliably, then I'd guess no.
