Okay, that makes sense. I guess I'm not sure on how I could know whether a certain datasource is available for getting data from or not without actually trying to request data from it. The fields returned from "/device/devices/{deviceID}/devicedatasources" don't seem to reveal that information.

Am I missing something that would do what I'm looking for? I want to automate as much of this process as possible so I don't have to maintain a list of datasources for each server.
