I just added my AWS resources to my logic monitoring. However, I am have trouble adding group to EC2 instances. My plan to is to organize by environment like AWS-DEV, AWS-QA and AWS-PROD. How could I achiever that?
ProfessorThe easiest way would be to setup Dynamic Groups which lets you setup AppliesTo statements to auto-populate groups. Some details at https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/devices/device-groups/adding-device-groups#Auto-assign-Devices . These groups would be outside of the cloud group/folder though.
Assuming you tagged your environments via AWS tags, you can have a custom query that is something like this:
system.aws.tag.environment == "Prod"
