Can't put Windows log sources into SDT

Hi all

We run a number of LM Logs LogSources against our servers. We're capturing lots or random stuff we don't necessarily want a ticket for every event , but a fair number like server crashes, accounts locked out, apps being installed on sensitive servers, that sort of stuff.

Turns out you can't put Windows log sources into SDT. Patching has turned int a bit of a ticket fest. Can somebody advise if this is functioning as designed , planned feature upgrade ?  If its FAD , what was the thinking behind it when you can put EventSources into SDT.
