Unanswered by LM employees, yes, and that's fine. They all have jobs to do!
Fortunately, there is a healthy community of non-LM people here to fill the void, help with be workarounds, and maybe even gather some momentum to lobby for a fix.
It's polite and professional, there are rules and moderators.
Please don't push discussions of bugs and feature requests off-grid.
Honestly, I'm surprised that the product and dev teams aren't engaging more with the army of power users and free Q/A testers they have here, but that's up to them.

In all honesty, I agree. I believe we should be taking full advantage of the community platform and all the power users in here.
