Support for unscheduled maintenance

On a device we can set SDT where that would be a duration of x minutes, what I am after is a way to have unscheduled maintenance example: HTTPS is broken, Ack does not quiet fit the picture here as soon as you Ack an alert it pretty much goes away till the alert is resolved.

By using unscheduled maintenance you would se set a 2 hour duration if the alert is not fixed within 2 hours then it will start alerting again. Also by using unscheduled maintenance it will help us with SLA reporting as a general SDT would be used when patching infra ect

So what we have now with SDT, but calling it UDT?

Exactly that! or sched duration on a ack

  • This would also help ITIL enterprises better align LogicMonitor with the "planned" and "unplanned" changes practice.
