Way to search for specific DataPoints w/in DataSource(s)

Bumping this up again b/c still today we cannot find specific metrics w/in the LM Gui. Can this be added to the tool. I need a way to search thru all the sub-metrics if I click on a group folder in the resource tree and then on the Alert Tuning tab search for xyz. Cannot do this in old GUI, still cannot do this in new UI unless I click on the exact DS in the tree. I can't go thru 100's of DS to find a specific metric/datapoint.
