EventSource - Syslog - Ability to set the alert severity?? When will that be possible?

Hello,

This is something that's allowed in Windows Event, Traps, etc...
Why can't we define the Alert Severity for Syslog Event Sources? This should be a possibility because a syslog message might come as Warning but, it's critical to us (we should be able to specify those should alarm as Error/Critical).

Is this on the pipeline? Can it be brought to developers?

    Not sure how much attention this will get as an ES, since syslog is one of the main capabilities of LMLogs.

    That's a fact! But, we should be able to dictate which severity it gets mapped within LM (in case we don't have the LM Logs feature).
