Reporting From Primary Group

Hello,

I believe we are able to do this in the old UI, but ever since reporting was cut over I am unable to confirm. I want to build a report that automatically pulls the total device count in the portal for contractual reasons. I am unable to select the Primary Group when building this report, only sub groups. This means that if any devices are currently residing in the Primary Group they will be missed. The current fix is to build a Dynamic Group and do a command to automatically add all devices, I find this to be a little finnicky and it includes some bugs. It also complicates some things in the portal as you have more than one group to choose from when editing device settings.

    Hi Ben - Can you use the feedback button on the bottom right of your account to share the specific report you're looking at with me?  Do you want the device count of only the primary group, or of the primary group and all sub groups?  I'm glad dynamic groups work for your purpose now, but I'd prefer we get the report working as needed.

    Hi Annie - I do not see the Feedback button you are referring to, do you mean within the community forum or on the LM Portal itself? I am looking for the device count of the Primary group as well as all subgroups, I am essentially looking for a way to pull the device count that shows in the Settings -> Account Information tab.
