I have seen a workaround that might suffice for your needs. Windows has a feature called 'subscriptions' that can copy an event from one log to another log. So you can copy specified events to one of the 'standard' logs (System, Application) where LM can then monitor them.
As I hope you understand, LM tech support cannot support this type of workaround. (link)
