@George Bica you have a few options here. You can remove that AD filter and monitor powered on VMs, of course, this won't trim it down to only alert on your tag.
If you import the new set of VMware modules (they all start with the name "VMware_*") you actually can pull in your tags as autoproperties and AD filter on those for only your "important" VMs.
