Device/Instance properties in Alerts and Dashboard table widgets

In Dashboard table widgets it would be useful to be able to add columns containing device/resource and instance properties eg. to be able to add non-numeric identifiers for things such as location, OS version, hostnames, etc.

Similarly, this would also be useful in Alerts, as it would allow the ability to group and parse devices by non-numeric properties.
