Data Center Unreachable Alert

We run a data center with many collectors phoning home to LogicMonitor. A network failure upstream results in all collectors alerting down, when in fact they are simply unable to reach LogicMonitor to upload monitoring data.

I suggest the concept of a \'\'Data Center Unreachable\'\' alert that checks for more than x% (or a fixed number) of collectors not reporting data. If the threshold is reached, then all collector alerts are suppressed and a single DC unreachable alert is triggered. This alert could have a different escalation chain to ensure the correct people are notified.
