Dashboard: ##VALUE## widgets or overlay on graph

More flexibility in the types of items that can be created on dashboards would be amazing. Many times I\'ve found that a simple current value from a datasource/point would be more useful than seeing the graph. If it was overlayed on top of its corresponding graph (in the top left corner for example) that would be the best of both worlds.
