Something like...
Alert : Critical Alert
Alert Type : Windows Event
Customer : XYZ
Time : 14:00
This alert would go to support email & Bob SMS

If you go to a host in the hosts tab, select the tool next to an Event Source, and pick Manage Alerts, there is a button Show Alert Routing on the form that pops up. This does (I think) exactly what you are asking for.
Correct me if I'm misunderstanding...
Hi,
Thanks for the reply, yes i have seen that feature before and it does indeed give me the information i need, however you have to go hunting a bit for it. It would be great to be able to simulate an alert and then see which alert it triggers. It's not an essential requirement but would be a great feature in my book.
The "Show Alert Routing" is nice, but it only lets you act on one data point for one instance at a time. I'd like to have an API call that would run every data point for every instance through the same simulation and report back to me a graph representation (maybe in the DOT language how they're all connected. Then I can filter and visualize this on my side.
I started a chat under ticket 119191 and discussed this with Seth. I would like to +1 this for your next roadmap. I want to be able to see what alerts "would fire" without enabling the alerts. If I add 10 devices, I want to QUICKLY see how many would fire if I enabled them. No hunting, no slow rollouts.
Maybe a report with applied thresholds and current values with clear indicators what alert level the value is within at the report runtime.

Would be nice to have a form in the Alert Rules section where we can do tests.
