Add ability to treat public holidays (arbitrary dates) as ''weekends''

In discussion with a customer on the subject of time-based escalation chains and alert handling, the customer asked about bank holidays / public holidays. In terms of support coverage these are often similar to a weekend / out-of-hours, with minimal staff coverage.

Would it be possible to provide the option to import a customer\'s country\'s public holiday schedule (e.g. from Google Calendar?) and provide the option to treat public holidays either as a Sunday or a specific public holiday option when creating time-based escalation chains and time-based alerting thresholds?
