Ability to "UnAck" an alert for testing/design

I would like the ability to unACK an alert during testing/design phases or rules and escalation chains. Once I've acked the alert, there is no way for me to reuse it for testing. In addition, if someone accidentally ACK'ed an alert via phone, etc. it'd be great for them to be able to send a NEXT command to escalate it, should they not be able to work on it for some reason, or if they ACK'ed it by accident.
