Focus on a multi-instance datasource with more than a few instances and more than a few datapoints, then go to the alert tuning tab.
Every datapoint is listed X times where X is the number of instances. Presumably this is so that you can tune the alert on the instance level even though you do not have the instance selected. I get it. However, there’s no way of knowing which datapoint corresponds to which instance. The table doesn’t have an instance column.
If I’m focused on the devicedatasource, I don’t want to see child objects, heredity should only go downward, not upward.
Interestingly, this doesn’t happen when focused on an instance group. I wonder if this is a bug.
I have 32 instances. I have 17 datapoints.
