I’m afraid the whole of the new UI is unworkable for me.  I’m trying to like it, but can’t.

Here are the main issues:

  1. It’s too slow. It’s not only unresponsive, its also so slow to navigate even when you know what you’re looking for.
  2. It is too visually confusing.  Guess what ANY of these buttons mean:

  3. Icons hover text set to “Default” everywhere means I have no idea what these icons mean either:

  4. Dialogs of submenus of tabs of subtabs of submenus.  None of this screenshot is intuitive:

  5. Zoom in icon means “Focus?”  What the actual metaphor?

We’ve been here before.  It’s going to be great.  But just now it’s really bad.
