Linux Processes via SSH

Does anyone know of a datasource(s) that can monitor Linux processes via SSH?  Unfortunately, SNMP is not an option for us.

Product development team. has there been any movement on this? snmp is not an option for a lot of our customers and we want to monitor processes via ssh
