Windows Server 2012: Microsoft End of Extended Support (10/10/2023)

In case you were unaware, Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 and their derivatives recently reached Microsoft’s End of Extended Support date (October 10, 2023).

This means that Microsoft will no longer create non-security updates and security related updates are only available via the “Extended Security Update (ESU) program is a last resort option for customers who need to run certain legacy Microsoft products past the end of support”.
