Hi Kelemvor - I would love to set up some time to talk through your specific feedback & what complaints you have. While I agree the new UI transition has been painful, we have worked very hard to resolve bugs & performance issues, and you should not still be seeing these issues. Many complaints about the new UI came from an earlier period in the transition, and have long since been addressed. In addition, the new UI includes many new features you won't find in the older UI (like dashboard filtering, resource explorer, datapoint analysis, logs analysis, netflow sankey, DataSource level alert tuning, and more), so sticking to the older UI means you are not getting the best of LogicMonitor. Lastly, we are only have plans to force the following three pages, currently: Settings, Reports, Websites -- and thats because these pages are simpler, the adoption is high, and issues very few and far between. We know Dashboards & Resources are more complicated pages and we want you to feel comfortable before we remove the toggle -- again would love to chat about what you're seeing & what would make you feel comfortable with the new UI.
I agree that the new UI is a major downgrade to the old UI. It is not just about early performance issues, its more about look and feel and usability. The new UI feels like it was designed by somebody who is not a user of the tool. Every actual user of the tool I have talked to dislikes the new UI and struggles to use it.
Yes there are some features in the new UI that are not available in the old UI, but that is a choice by LM to only implement enhancements in the new UI.
There was nothing wrong with the old UI and it worked great for many years. The new UI looks worse from a look and feel perspective, and slows down my workflow considerably by being less intuitive.
Resources page especially needs a lot of work before the toggle can be removed. There are many issues with that page including the auto-focus making it hard to navigate compared to the old UI.

Hi Matt_Whitney -- We'd love to set up a call with you to discuss more specifics. We don't have a timeline yet for removing the toggle for resources, and would love to ensure a more positive experience prior to setting one. Hopefully the sentiment on some of the simpler pages like websites, reports and settings is less negative, but we'd love to discuss that as well. Additionally, I do just want to share context that part of the reason we shifted to a new UI was actually tech debt & upgrading the UI framework on the backend -- so while the old UI may have appeared fine from a functionality perspective, it was getting more and more difficult to maintain.

Thanks Sarah, yes I would be happy to get on a call to discuss details. Please send over some dates/times and we can get something scheduled.
I am sure LM has their reasons for switching to a new UI, but that's not a reason for things like button placement, look and feel, color scheme, auto-focus, the need for extra clicks to do the same thing as before, and other things to be so drastically different.
Ideally the new UI would look and behave as closely as possible to the old UI to avoid disrupting your users so badly. Instead of drastically changing the entire look and feel of the product in a negative way while also decreasing performance.
