Network Device Backup Status

I have a question regarding LM capabilities. Is there a data source that can show which network devices are not backing up properly?

OP11 months agoWe are using Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices, and we are utilizing ConfigSource to fetch the device configurations

OP11 months agoNo, LM does not have any such reporting capability for the last backup. However, LM has default configurations for resources, but I just need a single data source reference so that I can check whether any network devices have been backed up successfully or not. Do we have any out of the box solutions available for this kind of monitoring?

·11 months agoIs the network device able to report when it was last backed up? I don't believe most network devices knows that has been backed up, especially if "backup" is just saving the output of show running-config. But otherwise perhaps you can monitor the backup program itself, check if its backup job completed successfully.
